Following the release of Magnum Opus in 2004, widgetwidget became incredibly popular, and was prominently featured all over the web and in the international press. As interest in the site rapidly increased, so did our bandwidth usage and the workload involved in maintaining the site.

We could have gone down the route offered by many sites out there - and filled widgetwidget with Google ads and flashing banners. But we felt that would detract from your experience, and that's what matters most.

Now, this isn't our full time job - we're starving students who release work for the love of it, something we didn't want to stop. So for a measly $9.99 a year, you get full access to the site, and all of the free icons and desktops it holds. Plus, you can all the icons and desktops throughout your year's subscription, as many times as you want, at no extra charge. Can't be bad.

For $9.99 a year, you become a Subscriber. This entitles you to a years worth of downloads of our free icons and desktops, your exclusive Membership pack, and that fully-patented Warm Fuzzy Feeling™

You can sign up in three simple steps. If you're a PayPal member, you've only got to go through two steps. We take a few necessary details from you, and then you're taken to our PayPal Subscription page. Type in your PayPal login and password, and you're a Subscriber! You'll then be issued with login details for widgetwidget. And to make your life even easier, PayPal automatically renews your subscription once a year so you don't have to worry about remembering. It couldn't be simpler.
